MONEY IDIOMS ILLUSTRATIONS AW

Phrasal verbs and idioms are a really important part of the English language, especially for spoken English. But, what are they?

Phrasal verbs are a group of multi-word verbs made from a verb plus a preposition or adverb.

Idioms are expressions that don’t exactly mean what the words say.

From time to time I’ll post some typical English expressions in order to give all of us the possibility to understand, use or simply revise phrasal verbs or idioms naturally…

Why don’t you invent and post the sentences underlining your preferred English expressions? I start with my first sentence: “Everything I try to grow dies…  I don’t have a green thumb“.

I look forward to your posts… ♥
